What natural loofah is
Natural loofah is a plant fibre. It comes from the Egyptian loofah plant, Luffa aegyptiaca, grown on our own farms and partner farms in the Nile Delta. A plastic pouf is made of plastic mesh. The two products do the same job in the shower, but they are very different things to sell.

Egyptian loofah is soft and gentle from the first use. The fibres are not rough. We do not claim that it lasts longer than other loofah. We say what we know: it feels soft from the start.
Parts that match the product
The towels, edges, ropes and back straps on our products are 100% cotton. We do not offer a polyester option. A shopper who picks up a natural sponge with a cotton edge sees a product made of natural materials from end to end.

The shapes you can order

- Body sponges: oval, rectangle and round. The oval and rectangle come in two sizes: 11 x 14 cm and 13 x 17 cm. The round one is 14 x 14 cm.

Private label
Many shops and spas want their own brand on the product. Private label options include embroidered logo labels, printed labels, hang tags and custom packaging. EGEXO designs the packaging layout from a logo, an idea or a reference.
Private label starts from 1,000 units, and the options cost extra. A private label design is never made for anyone else. Custom and private label orders take longer than standard products, and we confirm the time with your quote.
What an order looks like
- Minimum order: there is no minimum order on standard products.
- Lead time: 7 to 25 days from payment. Up to 5 pieces per product are ready in 2 days.
- Trade terms: prices are in US dollars, EX-Works Damanhour. We also quote CFR, CIF and DAP. FOB and DDP are available only on request.
- Payment: large orders are 50% advance payment and 50% before shipment, or an irrevocable confirmed L/C at sight against shipping documents.
- Quote: we reply within 24 hours.

How we check the goods
Every order is checked by hand for quality, size and dryness before packing. We do not run lab tests as a routine step. They are done on request, and the buyer pays the cost. If any item is faulty, we replace it with your next order.
EGEXO’s management system is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Its good manufacturing practices are certified to ISO 22716. These certificates are about how the company is run. They are not a mark on the loofah.
Talking to your customers about loofah
You can tell shoppers that natural loofah is a plant fibre, that it is 100% biodegradable, and that it is soft from the first use. Keep the message to those points. A short, plain line sells well, and you never have to defend a claim you cannot prove.
Please do not present loofah as a treatment for any skin or health problem. For your product page, add this line for shoppers: if you have a skin or health condition, ask your doctor before using any exfoliating tool.
Try it before you order
Samples are the best way to judge the loofah. A sample order is up to 20 pieces per item. Samples are paid, and the buyer pays shipping. Standard samples ship within 2 days and custom samples within a week. The sample cost is credited to your first order of $1,000 or more, placed within 60 days.
A sample order helps you check the feel of the loofah, the size of each piece and the finish of the cotton edges. It also lets you show the product to your own customers before you commit to a bigger order. If a sample does not fit your market, you have lost very little.
